New books from Nancy Kilpatrick
Nancy has two more books coming out this year. Jason X: Planet of the Beast is due out in October from Black Flame, and Outsiders: Stories on the Edge of the Fantastical, an anthology Nancy co-edited with Nancy Holder, will be out that same time from Roc/NAL.
Nancy has also sold short story "Our Lady of the Snows" to Tesseracts 9, and has just contracted to write another novel in the Jason X world for 2006. She's currently working on Mercedez - Day of the Dead for Blue Moon/VIVID, to be released "eventually."

Numerous reprints for Douglas Smith stories
Doug's short story "State of Disorder," which first appeared in Amazing Stories in 1999 and was an Aurora finalist in 2000, will be reprinted in the upcoming Australian anthology An Alternative Time from Altair Books, and his novelette "Scream Angel," which first appeared in the US anthology Low Port in 2003 and won the 2004 Aurora Award, will be translated and reprinted in Ukraine (Real'nost' Fantastiki) and Israel (Bli Panika).
His novelette "Spirit Dance," which appeared in Tesseracts 6 and The Third Alternative #22 and was an Aurora finalist in 1998, will be translated and reprinted in Croatia (Futura), Poland (Nowa Fantastyka), and Lithuania (Dorado Raganos), bringing the number of sales for this story to sixteen.
Finally, Doug's short story "Symphony," which first appeared in Prairie Fire in 1999 and was an Aurora finalist in 2000, will be translated and reprinted in Croatia (Via Galactica).

The Nebula Awards® are voted on, and presented by, active members of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, Inc. The prelimnary ballot will be mailed to all active SFWA members (of which there are more than 1,400). Each member may nominate no more than five works in each category on the preliminary ballot. The final ballot will then be drawn up and mailed February 15. The Awards will be announced at the Nebula Awards® Banquet to be held at the Allegro Hotel in the heart of Chicago's Loop Theater District on Saturday, April 30.
Cory is also on the cover of (and interviewed inside) Locus Magazine this month, along with Charles Stross.
