Claude Lalumière story selected for Year's Best Fantasy
Claude will be teaching a workshop in Montreal for the Quebec Writers' Federation called "Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror: Writing and Selling Short Stories" at the Atwater Library every Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. from March 1 to April 10. Details are here.
The Mammoth Book of Best New Erotica 5, edited by Maxim Jakubowski, reprints Claude's story "Secretly Wishing for Rain" (from Fishnet.
Finally, the anthology Claude co-edited with Elise Moser for Véhicule Press, Lust for Life: Tales of Sex & Love, which includes a new work by a SF Canada member Holly Phillips, will be launched in Toronto on February 11 at 7 p.m. at The Rivoli, 332 Queen St. W.; in Montreal on February 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Le Sergent Recruteur, 4801 St-Laurent, and in Halifax on February 18 at 7 p.m. at Venus Envy, 1598 Barrington. Claude will be at all three launches.
