Joe Mahoney story anthologized
On the CBC Radio front, Joe is producing a pilot for a science fiction comedy series called Canadia, with writer Matt Watts of Steve the First (and Second) fame. The pilot will be recorded May 4. Joe is also currently working on a radio series called The Adventures of Apocalypse Al with writer J. Michael Straczynski of Babylon 5 fame, which will be broadcast throughout the summer on CBC Radio One.

Nancy Kilpatrick-edited anthology up for Stoker Award
Other anthology finalists are Corpse Blossoms, edited by Julia and RJ Sevin (Creeping Hemlock Press), Dark Delicacies: Original Tales of Terror and the Macabre, edited by Del Howison and Jeff Gelb (Carroll & Graf), and Weird Shadows over Innsmouth, edited by Stephen Jones (Fedogan and Bremer).

Michèle Laframboise wins Solaris Prize
Michèle's next comic book, "Séance de signatures" (Book Signing) will be published by Fichtre!, a Montréal-based independent comic publisher, next May. Michèle;s last comic book was published in 1997.
Finally, the Ontario Arts Council has granted Michèle a subvention for writing her next novel. "This novel will be aimed at a more mature audience than my previous YA books," Michèle says. Steven Mills SF novel launching at Norwescon
